On the Chart above (Click Image to Enlarge): Repairs are mentioned as one of the features in the Lunation World Grid Chart for the week of the Crane Collapse Event I have included that Lunation Week Chart and the Post that went with it: The World grid apparently did not consider this NYC Crane incident as a "Major occurrence" but did refer to "Repairs".

A New York Crane Company Crane (30 year old crane originally from Canada)...
...at 335 East 91st street (building under construction (according to Gov. Bloomberg)
...broke off and crashed into the 32 story Azure Condominium at 354 East 91st street (longitude given above)
Focus is on the connection between the turntable's "kingpin"... the rotation mechanism that allows the crane to turn about. It has been noted that the collar exposed at the point of the "break"looked rusty and without the "gobs of lubrication" that ought to have been there.
Two dead; one, the crane operator in the cab and two; another worker.
Another worker had his chest slashed open and a pedestrian was treated for minor injuries.
